    Abstract

    The term “snagging” is widely applied within the construction industry
    although other terms and definitions are used such as non-conformance,
    rework, quality failures, quality deviations, a mismatch, something
    incomplete or an imperfection. Snagging has been defined by a UK snagging
    company1 as the: “Act of checking a new home for difficulties with the quality
    of finish and workmanship”.
