Abstract

This article reports work (still in progress) that aims to summarise evidence about the management of infected diabetic foot ulcers. Five linked systematic reviews are being conducted concerning different aspects of diagnosis and treatment. Estimates from systematic reviews and expert opinion will be used to inform a decision analysis model. The authors are currently at the stage of screening papers for inclusion. Challenges so far have included generating the diagnostic search strategy and managing the peer referee process. Results should be available in the next year.
