As many of us are involved in survey work (often against our better judgement). I thought I'd pass on some quick tips from my experience from the world of marketing. Just about every library is running surveys one everything from quality of service to the softness of the bog paper - it can be good PR, convincing the management or outside world that you are committed to customer care , and also a good wee job once you get the hang of it.
