Abstract

The chapter is an examination of identity and cultural capital among people who took part in a photography project – Still Life? - designed to draw attention to the lived experience of older people in Scotland. The intention of the project was to give people the means to articulate what they felt was meaningful about growing older in contemporary Scotland.
