Abstract
This report presents findings from the first Scottish Schools Adolescent Lifestyle and Substance Use Survey (SALSUS) undertaken in 2002 by the Child and Adolescent Health Research Unit (CAHRU), University of Edinburgh, and commissioned by the Information and Statistics Division (ISD Scotland) on behalf of the Scottish Executive. The survey continues the series of surveys begun in 1982
