Abstract
In our preliminary study, we assessed herd health status according to overall herd mortality rate and presence or absence of two endemic diseases: postweaning multisystemic wasting syndrome ( pmws ) and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome ( prrs ). pmws continues to affect production efficiency and pig welfare at a devastating and global level.
