Abstract
The book is an accumulation of research and practice. It
represents tools, techniques and current thinking relating to
Research strategy development and culture, and Doctoral
Supervision.
The book is organised in two parts.
Part One provides three chapters which focus on the nature
of developing a Research Strategy and Culture and then
provides tools and a Roadmap to develop both a research
strategy and a research culture. The chapters allow for the
theoretical underpinning and the practical application of the
ideas and tools and can help educational institutions to
construct, implement and reflect upon their research
strategies and implementation of a research culture.
Part Two provides an insight into the key issues and
contributions around doctoral supervision and support. The
part is composed of chapters in English setting a foundation
of the state of the art and contributions from a range of Latin
American contributors in Spanish explores specific topics
around epistemology, pedagogic practice, mindfulness,
environmental dimensions, models of regulation and control
and the use of the internet for collaborative writing.
