Abstract

This chapter combines the results of a small-scale literature review on the design, production, and provision of online information literacy training resources with the author’s experience of producing Glasgow Caledonian University’s own offering. Eight main themes from the literature are highlighted and discussed in light of technological and pedagogical developments. Trends are identified and areas for further investigation are suggested. The chapter also contains a short glossary explaining the main projects, funding bodies, and terminology in use in the United Kingdom.
