Abstract
Concerns relating to current trends in women’s employment patterns in Scotland and their overall position within the labour market have been raised by the Scottish Government27, in the context of the potential impact on economic growth. Labour market performance, occupational segregation, the gender pay gap all impact on regional development and growth strategies.
