Abstract

We have measured the specific heat and thermal conductivity of the polycrystalline Kondo alloy CePdGa. The specific heat shows high a Sommerfield coefficient, an antiferromagnetic transition at TN = 1.8K and an anomalous residual term around Tm = 1.2K. The thermal conductivity data fit accuratly to a κ = aT expression at very low temperature and the magnetic contribution to 1/κ follows a theoretically predicted ln(T) dependence.
