Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

The previous chapters analyzed specific examples of the wide range of organizational innovations in various developed countries. They have been assisted by the increasing degree of separation between public administration and public finance and between support services and customer services. That separation was itself driven by development of the New Public Management (NPM) agenda of the 1980s and 1990s and the growth of outsourcing.
