Abstract

To improve the limitations on designing and tr.rning of tuzzy PI controller, we propose a controller architecture, which includes an adaptation mechanism. On the other hand to eliminate the drawbacks of PI controller we included the fuzzy resetting type self-tuning mechanism in the conffoller architecture. To show the usefulness of the proposed controller, the controller is applied to a PMDC servomechanism. Experimental results show that the performance of the proposed controller is better than that of a conventional finzy Pl controller.
