Skillen, F. and Osborne, C. (2016) It’s Good to Talk: Oral History, Sports History and Heritage, The International Journal of the History of Sport, 2015, Vol. 32, No. 15, 1883–1898.

When the above article was first published online, in connection with the GAA project (2008-2012) mentioned in this article, the original version published online made an erroneous link between it and the Belfast Project, conducted by Boston College, USA (1998-2002). The original online version of this article has now been amended. The authors would like to make it clear that there is no connection between these two projects. The authors apologize to all involved with the GAA project (Boston College, Ireland), especially the director Professor Mike Cronin and his co-researchers, Mark Duncan and Dr Paul Rouse for the original error made and for any distress this caused.
