Abstract
This book is made up of a series of essays about what can perhaps be described as the most debated constitutional reform in recent years in Mexico. The reform published in the Official Gazette of the Federation on August 14, 2001 is analyzed by the various authors that make up the work from a multiplicity of perspectives and addressing a significant number of topics.
From the plurality of approaches the reader will also be able to deduce a different attitude of the authors with respect to the relevance of the reform and its contents. Not all who write agree with it. There are others, however, who value it positively, considering that it contains advances compared to what existed before. This reflects in the academic field more or less the same thing that has happened outside the university walls: the reform has provoked mixed reactions.
