Abstract

Introduction: There are increasing numbers of apps available to test vision, but few have been validated. This study has evaluated the efficacy of the iSight app for iPhone or iPad in comparison to conventional vision charts used within eye care. It contains conventional crowded LogMAR letters and a pre-school test for children using Kay Pictures2 and can test distance and near acuity.
