Abstract
Book abstract: The chapters of this book have the common goal of addressing the analysis of cultural production around 23-F, inquiring what such production can teach us about Spain in which it is made and consumed. In this sense, it fills an important gap. Despite how much has been written about the 23-F for journalistic, historical and political perspectives, lacking a comprehensive study of 23-F as an icon and cultural myth. This volume fills that lack with a compendium of essays that address both the impact of historical events on culture and the ways in which this culture digest the facts, creating everyday stories that are critical to understanding the Spain of the past 30 years.
