The aim of this project is to explore the impact of MSUS imaging on the diagnosis and management of painful foot problems from both the patient, clinician and service perspectives. Objectives are: 1) to evaluate post-ultrasound changes in diagnosis and management of painful foot problems in an NHS MSUS-led MSK podiatry service 2) to evaluate the impact of MSUS-informed care on pain, health-related quality of life (HRQoL) and perceptions of care quality; 3) to evaluate associations between clinical tests and post-MSUS diagnoses to assist in the selective/appropriate use of MSUS for diagnosing painful foot problems
