Project Details
Description
This project looks to empower rural communities with electric mobility that is affordable, efficient and environmentally friendly. The use of e-mobility will be for transport for people as well as goods to and from markets and homes. The consortium is looking to power the electric vehicles using solar power through charging stations and mini-grids. The consortium is also looking to empower women and increase their freedom of mobility by giving them access to affordable PAYGo models. We are also looking on how to make the charging points sustainable through various revenue streams such as in Kiosk which can provide charging and sell items, cold/grain storage facilities etc.
