Single Parent Community Connections

A central focus of the project will be to co-produce, design, test and deliver practical service delivery options, in response to isolation and loneliness facing single parents trapped in poverty with its impact on emotional wellbeing and mental health. SPIRU of Glasgow Caledonian University will work with single parents in one urban (Glasgow), one mixed (South Lanarkshire) and one rural (Aberdeenshire) community to identify how their needs can be matched with new single parent tailored service packages.
