Description
The emergence of 6G networks promises revolutionary advancements in wireless communication, enabling ultra-high data rates, ultra-low latency, and massive connectivity. To fully exploit the potential of 6G, it is imperative to integrate sensing capabilities into communication systems, enabling intelligent decision-making and context-awareness. Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) present a novel paradigm that can revolutionise joint communication and sensing in 6G networks. This proposal aims to investigate and harness the capabilities of RIS for realising efficient and intelligent joint communication and sensing systems in 6G.
