Provision of a Review of Retrofit Assessment in Scotland for Improving Home Energy Efficiency

Project Details

Description

The Scottish Government is pursuing a programme of work intended to lead to a Heat and Energy Efficiency Technical Suitability Assessment (HEETSA) being adopted as a more detailed, bespoke assessment tool beyond the EPC, but governed along similar regulatory principles to the EPC market – with a focus on maintaining the highest standards for consumers in the assessment given and recommendations made. As part of this work, the Scottish Government convened an expert workshop earlier in 2024, and 8 attendees at this workshop (including KB and MB) have been invited to tender for a package of research to further develop and substantiate this evidence base.
