Providing Analytical Expertise on Local Area Child Poverty Planning on Behalf of the Scottish Government

Project Details

Description

The key objectives are working with the national child poverty coordinator and other relevant stakeholders in order to:

Engage with local authorities and their local health boards to help develop and understand actions that influence child poverty in their area.

Identify and share good practice on the ground through one to one engagement, seminars or conference presentations and short topical briefings.

Aim to work across all 32 local authority areas over the three years, specifically focusing on local partners who have historically had less capacity to participate in work to tackle child poverty.
