Project Details
Description
The Scottish Poverty and Inequality Research Unit (SPIRU) has been commissioned by Cross Reach and Daisy Chain to provide analytical expertise and research support to assist and advise on the barriers facing families accessing Early Years services.
The project aims to:
- Amplify the voice of local families to influence and improve the early years information, support and services in Govanhill (perhaps a broader area for families with children with additional needs).
- Increase the choice and flexibility of the current local early years offer by working in partnership with Victoria Road nursery.
- Learn together to influence change – research & evaluation that facilitates ongoing inquiry and learning, influencing both local and strategic (e.g. citywide) decisions.
