Natural Energy Efficiency and Sustainability 2 (NEES2)

The NEES 2 is aimed at building on the pioneering work of the NEES Project (NPP, May 2011 to April 2014) in benchmarking and promoting the role of nature-based renewable and recycled materials and the services used to install them, in the energy retrofit and improvement of existing buildings. The NEES 2 project aims to extend the scope of the project by identifying a further 15 best practices, promoting these and those previously identified, at an EU level, creating opportunities for exchange and utilization of products and services on a trans-regional basis. We will also implement training programmes in all Partner regions making use of the vocational training modules developed, and will carry out significant pilot projects utilising these products and services in 7 Partner regions.
