Improving reading apps for visually impaired people using low-cost eye-tracking

Project Details

Description

This research investigates whether reading performance with central field loss can be improved by:
1. Incorporating natural eye movement patterns into the text presented by an electronic reading app.
2. Using eye tracking to monitor their fixation behaviour during EV to optimise SES.
We hypothesize that the combination of (1) and (2) will improve reading performance and enhance the reading experience of patients with poor central vision
