Glasgow Night Time Economy Supplemental Research

Project Details

Description

The aim of this study is to supplement consumer research undertaken by a third-party agency. The objective is to build on consumer research which is looking at understanding the behaviours and attitudes of visitors to the night-time economy since the Covid-19 pandemic through the implementation of a business survey to counterpoint the consumer attitudinal situation. Additionally, there is a requirement to establish, if possible a spending analysis of consumers relating to the night-time economy. Using our understanding and experience of tourism's economic and environmental impacts, we will produce appraisal reports that provide analysis of business sentiment on the night-time economy propose options and on approval implement a spending analysis to contribute to the understanding of benefits to the economy, workforce and residential communities/ population of Glasgow’s Night-time Economy.
