This proposal aims to investigate and identify the presence of Baudoinia spp in the vicinity of whiskey bonded warehouses and address the following research questions:
1. Can we design genus specific primers for Baudoinia identification?
2. Can we culture Baudoinia spp. using semi selective medium?
3. Can we identify the presence of Baudoinia spp. in a 1 kilometer radius of each bonded warehouse?
