Description
This funding will facilitate a reciprocal visit to Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz (JGU) for WJ and MCB, where they will present a research seminar and exchange knowledge of using the oral microbiome within in vitro research, ahead of preparing funding proposals for a DFG individual research grant or BBSRC/DFG joint funding. This visit will build upon the initial exchange in November 2024 at GCU, capitalising on the synergy between GCU's research on oral biofilms and Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz' (JGU) expertise in natural compound libraries.
