Mechanical design to include:
Design of device to incorporate allowance for standard raw material availability.
Refinement of sealing arrangement.
Modification of bearing location and shaft location device.
Selection of DC Motor to drive Driver Gate.
Selection of air pump for cleaning and aeration duty, including the design of the air lines to connect this pump to the dam.
Selection of water pump for recirculation duty, including the design of the water lines to connect this pump to the dam.
Design for mounting of turbidity sensor developed as below.

Instrumentation and Control Design to include:
Development of in-situ turbidity sensor.
Development of control system.
Development of data acquisition system.
Development of connection between device and PLC using Modbus interface.
