The project seeks to develop an imaginative method to interpret 160 years of Hebridean Education through a barrier breaking ‘living history’ digital interpretation. The aim is to create a virtual classroom environment featuring a teacher hologram, who will be able to simultaneously interact with multiple visitors. In order to create such an innovative educational display, capable of delivering the Association’s vision and at the same time ensure its portability, so that it may be shared with other Highland communities, will require a feasibility study.
