Description

"The project will support the company’s (Community Transport Glasgow) business model, opportunity recognition, and financial resilience by providing a “roadmap” toolkit for potential future scenarios. The project will provide as output an innovative yet simple strategic toolkit for the company to be able to successfully, yearly and independently scale up their current business model and react to varied market scenarios. Initially, the principal lead will examine the company's business model via the steps below:

Phase 1 (Month 1)
a. Overview of current possibilities of CTG
1. primary data: interviews with staff (to gather potential) and external stakeholders (to gain insights into market opp)
2. secondary data: market analysis
b. Analysis and reporting

From there the toolkit will begin being drafted based on needs highlighted:

Phase 2 (Month 2 and 3)

c. Development of toolkit
ii. Where they are
iii. Where they want to be
iv. How they can get there – action plan

Finally a workshop will be conducted on company premises to present the toolkit to staff."

The voucher will result in a potential case study for the REF2029, research outputs, and extend to a KTP involving a PhD student from Jan 2025.
