Project Details
Description
We aim to evaluate and optimise the dosing schedule of novel probiotics against a clinically relevant polymicrobial BV biofilm model. Specifically, we aim to investigate the following work plans (WPs) in proposed timeline (Fig 4):
1. Optimise the required colony forming unit dosage to demonstrate desired antimicrobial effect.
2. Evaluate the antimicrobial potential of different Lactobacillus spp. in both isolation and combination.
3. Determine the compositional shifts associated with each treatment modality.
