An Artic Strategy Mapping Report will address the current knowledge gaps on Scotland’s existing links with the Arctic region and will include recommendations on how Scotland can make the most of its unique geographical proximity to the Arctic, our social and cultural similarities and connections and our international economic outlook. The study will deliver 2 specific objectives:
Provide a critical overview of existing Arctic policies, strategies and frameworks highlighting relevance to Scotland.
Provide a landscape/map of previous and current links (projects, initiatives and programmes) in operation between Scotland and the Arctic region including academic, environmental, social, cultural and economic.
