Sanjukta Brahma is a researcher with expertise in the areas of corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, ESG, and board gender diversity. Sanjukta completed her Ph.D. from The Open University, and her Ph.D. thesis was titled “Market for corporate control and European Utilities”. Her interest in mergers and acquisitions remains strong, but she also researches in the areas of corporate governance and board diversity. She has published in various journals, including Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Finance and Economics, Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions and Money, Applied Financial Economics, Research in International Banking and Finance. She has peer-reviewed several journals, including British Journal of Management, International Journal of Finance and Economics, International Review of Financial Analysis, International Journal of Management Reviews. Over the years, Sanjukta has invited several guest speakers to present their research at her institution.

Sanjukta is happy to consider applications from Ph.D. candidates who wish to research in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, ESG, and board diversity. She has successfully supervised six PhDs to completion.
