Research interests

Marissa joined the Yunus Centre for Social Business and Health as a Researcher in Health Economics in October 2011.  She was a researcher on the Prevention IMPACT project looking at the development and evaluation of economic models for planning optimal cardiovascular prevention strategies with a focus on population health strategies.  As well as working on the economic evaluation stream of the Yunus Centre, she is working on developing a priority setting framework in newly integrated health and social care partnerships.  

Prior to working at Glasgow Caledonian University, Marissa worked as a Health Economist for NHS Ayrshire & Arran.  While working for the NHS, she completed her MSc in Economics and Health Economics at Sheffield University.
