Research interests

Kenneth is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher in Construction Management in the School of Computing, Engineering & Built Environment at GCU. His research interests are in Construction Management & Wastes in Construction, Geotechnics, Construction Occupational Safety and Health, Behavioural Safety, Workforce Engagement, application of AR/VR technologies in Construction Safety, Generative Design in Construction, and Modular Construction and Automation. He lectures in the Undergraduate and Postgraduate Construction Management Degree Programs covering Construction Management and Construction Project Safety & Health topics. Kenneth is actively involved as a researcher in key industry funded projects in Construction Management & OSH, Safety within the Renewable Industry (Wind), Mining and Temporary Works. Kenneth is an active member of various professional bodies - Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA); a Chartered Member of the Association of Building Engineer (CABE); a member of Temporary Works forum (TWf) – Scotland; and member of International Council for Research & Innovation in Building & Construction (CIB) Working Group W099 (Construction Health & Safety).
